If I didn't know better I would think this was me. The bag has my attention! I can't take my eyes off of it! The layering is practical and very balanced. The light blue sweater could be switched with any color and would look just as well built. The only thing missing is a baby on the hip and a 3 year old hanging on to the jeans. Yes, I love the holes! I would finish this look off with these wedges. These are from Ann Taylor, but I am pretty sure that Target carries these at a fraction of the cost.
A white tee and a pair of jeans are my favorite every day wear. This look is ok, wether at the grocery store, Rachel's basketball game, or Isabel's violin lesson. A pair of white canvas, low top Converse tennis shoes, are usually on my feet. It is an inexpensive out fit and can be dressed up a little when you feel like you need too. Add a belt, scarf, a pair of pumps, and earrings and your set for lunch with a friend. Hopefully I can get to lunch with out getting baby goo smeared on the back of my jeans! :) Olivia and I went for a slow paced walk this afternoon. I let her do all the talking. With Olivia, that is not hard. She loves to talk about everything. I like spending as much time with her as I can. Soon she might not want to. It is just lovely this afternoon. The sun is warm and the breeze is just right. I like the weather a little on the warm side. Liv, likes it cooler. She also loves having fun. She could be having the time of her life and she will ask me "Mom what are we doing next?". After our walk, for some reason I was exhausted. I plopped down on the couch and I took the nicest nap I have had in a long time. Usually the kids wake me up. OK they did wake me up a couple of times, but I went right back in to a deep sleep. It's a good day! Yes I know Ok, it has been a week. OK, you do not have to te I know the weather has been awesome all week. The kids, the house, the chores, the kids...I just don't feel like it! OK, OK, I will go this afternoon when the big girls get home! Fine! But my hair is done and I'm all clean up...O alright, I will. You don't have to nag me! |
